links! Proceeds from the inaugural event, to
be held at the scenic Lake Spivey Country Club,
will benefit the children's programs of Arts
Clayton, the Southern Crescent's foremost organization
in providing invaluable educational arts programs
for the youth of Clayton County and the surrounding
areas. |

international festival showcasing the heritage
and culture of metro families. The festival
includes an exciting schedule of music, dance
and dining. The festival is a cooperative
project of Arts Clayton, the Clayton/Fayette/Henry
Medical Society, Chairman Eldrin Bell, Dr.
and Mrs. Thomas Harden and the Arts Clayton
Board of Directors and Airport General Manage,
Ben DeCosta. Proceeds benefit the Arts
Clayton Apanay Art Scholarship Fund. Special
guests include Congressman David Scott. ~

AT HOME PARADE & STREET FESTIVAL |

 Thousands
turn out ever year as Historic Downtown Jonesboro
comes alive with a full day of celebration.
Held annually on the Saturday before Thanksgiving,
the parade is full of Fire trucks, Police
cars & special Sheriff's units to show
appreciation for the great job of these safety
officers. The event kicks off the Holiday
Season as lights enhance the historic downtown
buildings.

fun and creative art related activities and
daily programs, children ages 6 to 11 years,
(entering 1st through 6th grades next fall)
will receive hands-on learning about art, dance,
drama and music for two weeks in the Summer. |
