Exhibitions
As a non-profit community gallery, our artwork is as diverse as our community. There is always something new to experience at the Arts Clayton Gallery.
From exhibiting artists Group Shows to compelling feature exhibitions, the Arts Clayton Gallery is home to a wide range of artistic mediums which change bi-monthly or monthly.
In our Group Shows, we do not seek out a piece or artist we feel fits the theme of the exhibit's theme. We jury in artists, and invite them to bring the work they feel best expresses the theme chosen for the bi-monthly exhibit. One of our strengths is that we do not have a particular medium or style. In every exhibit, we have a mix of folk art, contemporary abstracts, impressionistic landscapes, photography - you name the style and medium and it will be included.
Our feature exhibits look to offer the community an opportunity to learn about a particular medium, see a small group exhibition a local art group, or celebrate the achievement of a Juried Show Winners.
Join us for our opening receptions on the first Thursday of the month!
Main Gallery
With a few exceptions, the main gallery is dedicated to exhibiting the artwork of Georgia Artists through exhibiting artist exhibitions and juried competitions.

March 2-March 26, 2010 - "Black Artists of Georgia" - Selections from the Tubman Museum
April 1-May 21, 2010 - "Into the Wild"
June 2-July 30, 2010 - "Tradition & Innovation"
August 3-October 1, 2010 - 2010 Juried Photography Competition, presented in conjunction with Atlanta Celebrates Photography
October 5-29, 2010 - "Circle of Life"
November 2-November 30, 2010

Feature Gallery
Our feature gallery changes monthly, allowing us to highlight a group, traveling show, medium, solo show or other artistic endeavor.
Winners of both juried shows are automatically offered the opportunity for a solo show.
Feature exhibit proposals are accepted on an on-going basis. We are currently accepting proposals for 2011 and beyond.
An important consideration to include in your proposal is how/why this exhibit will bring people into the gallery and increase arts awareness in the community.

Gallery Store
In addition to our exhibits in the main and feature galleries, Arts Clayton displays a large assortment of one of a kind handmade card, prints, jewelry, porcelain, pottery, wood, stained glass, blown glass and other unique works in our Gallery Store.
There is something for everyone. And, if you don't see what you are looking for, we know of an artist who may be able to create it for you on commission.
